Today the Montana Public Service Commission issued a Notice of Application and Intervention Deadline in NorthWestern Energy's rate case proceeding, which is one of the most consequential rate increase proceedings Montana has seen in decades from a health, environment, and economic perspective.  Montanans face potentially a 24% increase in rates, on top of the recently approved 28% increase in 2023.  Due to multiple deficiencies by NorthWestern in its Application, the PSC reset the intervention deadline to September 6, 2024.
